Texas and Oklahoma not committed to the Big 12, maybe UT to ACC and OU to SEC

I would prefer to watch BC over Vandy. That is true. But its funny how you've switched from talking about all the great matchups we would have in the Big 12, to now talking about the SEC. Never mind that we have no way of getting into the SEC...

Texas and Oklahoma not committed to the Big 12, maybe UT to ACC and OU to SEC

You're wrong on Miami. If we went to Big 12, as you are wishing, we would play 9 conference games. Plus Florida. We aren't keeping Miami on as a yearly foe in that situation. We would occasionally play them, as UF does now. We played GT last year. We play VT in 2018. We play ND every couple...

Speak for yourself on that last sentence. UNC, NCSU, Pitt--get into those easily. BC is a fantastic road trip. And that's all on top of Clemson, Louisville, VT, GT, and Miami.

Yeah, Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State, Texas Tech, those teams really get me jazzed up to play them...

Texas and Oklahoma not committed to the Big 12, maybe UT to ACC and OU to SEC

Few thoughts here: 1. The Big 10 ain't be lapped by anyone when it comes to money. 2. TV as a whole is going to look radically different in 10 years. Heck, maybe even 5 years. 3. We always had the ability to leave, but we weren't assured of upside. 4. There is incompetent officiating...

I'm sure ESPN is pushing hard for it too (top 10 ratings game every year), but yeah it's pathetic. Listen, we get that you have this big recruiting weekend and think you have a great chance of ending the streak. But maybe, just maybe, these kids might want to be with their families? Or perhaps...

Agreed. Not sure why folks continue to insist that the acc is run by dummies, let alone bafoons.

Texas and Oklahoma not committed to the Big 12, maybe UT to ACC and OU to SEC

There are plenty of bright people working on expansion so I'm sure they would do due diligence. But fwiw, ND is a massive presence in Ohio. You get ND and you get the entire Midwest. But as long as we stay at 8 conference games (which today looks like that will continue for now) then it's a...

Texas and Oklahoma not committed to the Big 12, maybe UT to ACC and OU to SEC

ND folks I have talked with don't seem too fond of the idea of Cincy. Perhaps Uconn. I think Navy would be pretty solid. Football is better than the bottom 1/4 of the league, and other sports would benefit from P5 money and branding. Also, it would mean the Army/Navy game becomes part of the...

Texas and Oklahoma not committed to the Big 12, maybe UT to ACC and OU to SEC

Have a friend who is, along with his very well connected father, ND alums and big boosters. They say ND wil join ACC in full, only a matter of time. They have been VERY pleased with the basketball, women's athletics, helping their baseball, and direction that ACC is going in. It's either Indy...

Ahh. Yeah, that wouldn't happen. It would be ND and Texas, or ND and someone else.

Good luck. After 5 days without power last month, I've changed my mind on when I leave or stay.

Will be in NC by Saturday. Would be gorgeous weather in Jax. Time to leave Jax, if you're going to leave, is Wednesday or Thursday morning.

Texas and Oklahoma not committed to the Big 12, maybe UT to ACC and OU to SEC

That's exactly what I said in the post you're responding to. Also, you used a bunch of examples of programs that would be equally as big of a football game as Texas...but none of those programs are currently in the ACC. So from an ACC standpoint, I think it would be a pretty spectacular addition.

I'm pretty sure apparel sales would say otherwise about UT. They aren't ND (no one is) but they are certainly a huge brand. Why do you think there is a "Longhorn Network" and not a "Sooner Network?"

Yeah Betton got hit hard too. But looking at the radar it really didn't seem like a tornado. Just the eye wall that hit twice. All the trees got loosened up and then the winds shifted to the other direction and took them out. It obviously could have been a tornado, but I really think it was...

Invest 99L (Now TD 9)(Now TS Hermine)(Now Hurricane Hermine)

The western eye wall passed right over midtown, then Hermine made a jaunt east and the same eye wall came back across mid-town bring winds from the opposite direction. I had my mifi hot spot on with battery until about 4am during the storm and watched the whole thing happen on radar. Strongest...
