Cal - USC game canceled for Covid

Fascinating. 99% vaccine rates.
if only there was a 99.95% survival rate in that 18-29 age demographic...

a demographic that makes up 21.5% of the overall cases in the US and 0.57% of the overall deaths.

Pure silliness.

They only had 42 scholarship players last week and a 99% vaccination rate?!? How does that happen?

They said it. Maybe it’s more than just scholarship. Or all sports. Or they have one unvaxxed player and are way worse than math than you’d expect.

the second half of the article is a fun read beginning with:

During a meeting with University Health Services on Monday, Cal defensive lineman Luc Bequette tweeted, in part, "UHS told us we could be arrested for refusing to test as vaccinated individuals with no symptoms."

and then watching the backtracking unfold from that.

each school and conference has the right to set its own protocols but that's a heck of a shift from the generally accepted NCAA recommended protocols.
