Give me your must sees and dos and the best places to grub. Nothing fancy. Anywhere from Cape Canaveral to Melbourne Beach...

Nothing that will knock your socks off but:

Best nightlife: port area - Fishlips and Grills have pretty good food.

Best nice dinner (long pants): Fat Snook. The Mango Tree used to be solid, haven't heard much recently.

Best place to see drunk chicks and fights: Coconuts on a weekend (daytime)

Best burrito: Da Kine Diego's

Best quiet night out - Sand on the Beach

They've poured a lot of money into improving the restaurants on the CB Pier but I can't vouch for them. Possibly "Disney-fied".

The 2 dipshits above pretty much nailed it but-

Nolan's Irish Pub- is a good little chill pub on 520 near A1A, owned by an old Irish guy Nolan and has live Irish folk music

Sun on the Beach- in Satellite on A1A, best breakfast in Brevard

Kelsey's pizza just north in Cape Canaveral is a good New England/Boston style pizzeria

Downtown CB has around 10 interesting dumpy dive bars within 3 blocks area of Coconuts, you never know what you gonna run into, sometimes you turn right around and leave and other's you be like hell yeah, but you know that already.

Florida Beer Company just recently opened a taproom up at the port, haven't been, but heard it's pretty nice.

Will have to try sun on the beach for breakfast. I've found cafe delicious downtown cocoa beach to be the best breakfast. Robertos right across the street is pretty good too tried Taco City for the first time recently and it was very good.
Went to trend kitchen in Indian Harbour. A bit pricy but very good.
Cocoa village is interesting
They're not finished improving the pier but it has definitely been cleaned up. Worthy stop for a couple drinks.

I don't know much about Cocoa as that's probably my least favorite part of Florida other than Miami proper. But the Florida Beer Company does really good beer. They're the subcontractor for all of Universal Studios proprietary beers including all 3 Harry Potter beers and all 3 Simpsons beers. While they're all good even by craft brew standards I absolutely LOVE Duff Dry. It's my favorite porter period regardless of maker. They may not be my favorite midsized brewer, that's probably a threeway tie between Victory, Abita, and Shiner (smaller even more crafty Brewers like Wicked Weed would beat even these midsized guys). But they're definitely in the conversation for top 20 breweries in my book and the only one in Florida I would put up there (and yes I know there's a ton of Cigar City fans here but I don't count myself as one of your ranks).

Nippon Thai in Satellite Beach has good sushi. Lou's Blues usually has good live music. Arrive after 8 or you will have to endure some brutal karaoke.
Slow n' Low in Cocoa Beach for BBQ. Smokehouse Foods at the Port for great smoked fish tacos.

Cocoa Beach is for surfing and fishing, theres not much else. I swear it hasn't changed much at all since the 70s
True and that's a good thing. Think about how nice your neck of the woods would be it if hadn't changed since the 70s...

Cocoa = white trash capitol of the world. Amazing

Still the white trash capitol of Central Florida.

Yeah - got the Inner Room which pretty much always a great time (no cover, free shot with your first beer - certainly a mix of gals).

Lido's isn't bad. Cheaters has a nice layout, some TV's - not as smokey as the previous two.

Brevard beaches with the exception of Cocoa aren't that bad. I like living here much more than I thought I would, but then again I'm originally from Georgia so maybe I just feel comfortable with my peoples.

I at the aforementioned tacos at the Sandbar for dinner tonight, better than I expected. I took the wife and kids, they had a reggae band that was actually pretty good. It was just barely loud enough to drown out the wife and kids, so perfectly peaceful meal.

Which one would be best to take the wife to?

Correct, I didn't mean it as a bad thing.I like the changes we have here, a lot to do but I like old school Florida very much. Cocoa Beach is the beach town time forgot. The pier is classic, straight out of the 60s. Caught many a good wave there I used to spend my summers there, 3 friends in a small beachhouse, working construction and praying for waves.

Thai FUKu there in Cocoa Beach has some pretty good sushi & food.
Are you sure? It looks like the midway at the fair from the outside...

Update. This place is surprisingly delicious. Had sushi and some Thai, both were very good. Beware, the Thai green chilies will wreck Uranus...

Bunky's was really good. Had the clams casino and the oysters Rockefeller which were both fresh shucked then dressed up. The fried seafood was all fresh and hand battered. Some decent beers on tap, IPAs and all but I stuck with Stella. Would definitely have it in my regular rotation if I lived nearby...
