Reggie Bush wore #5 at USC and Greg Jones wore #6 at FSU…..

Dante Fowler Jr is a stud. And he'll be a great NFL player. I can't help but think about what might have been had he stuck with his commitment here. We were fine without him but he would have been a big help to our defense in 2014 considering our problems rushing the passer. He basically waisted his time as a college player playing on a bad team down in Hogtown.

Yep....he was scared off by Casher and Edwards and was the far superior player in college to both...funny how stuff works out

Respect your opinion, but disagree. He was more about the falsh and cash than the game. Now we will never know because he will have fewer sacks for the jags than did Harvey (total waste) or even the 14 pitiful sacks he had in college. The jags bombed on this one.

The 14 sacks in college is a way overblown statistic. He mostly lined up at LB his first 2 years, and despite the low sack #s, still had close to 20 tackles for a loss his first 2 years. He also lost about 15 lbs before last season, and had 8.5 sacks. But, Sacks are an incredibly over rated statistic. You can be an effective pass rusher without having a ton of sacks. Hurrying a QB consistently, or causing double teams that open it up for other guys and what not, are just as important as actual sack totals. Fowler had 2 less career sacks at Florida than Jevon Kearse, and Kearse had 14.5 sacks his rookie year with the Titans, and if he could have stayed healthy, would have been one of the great pass rushers in NFL history. Now, I am not saying Fowler is going to be Kearse, because Kearse was at a different athletic level for that size of a person, but the sack totals in college are not the least bit indicative of how many sacks a guy will get in the NFL.

.Jags, please learn. You NEVER draft a gator defensive lineman in the first round. First Harvey, now Fowler. Fooled twice, so shame on the Jags. The Turds are toxic busts waiting to happen,
