I would keep checking. 30 days before check-in, they will charge people's credit cards. Those that are not able to be processed will released. Also, some folks will cancel their rez at the 30 day mark, before it becomes non-cancelable, if they are not going to make the trip or have an extra room. I checked the Hilton site and I was able to find a couple of rooms, away from downtown. The lowest was the Hampton Inn @ I-10 & Thomasville Rd., for $419.+ tax/night. Outrageous!! Homewood Suites on Apalachee Pwky is @ $499.+tax/night. Unbelievable!!
