Thomasville Pictures begins work on second feature film
“One Way” that will star Kevin Bacon, Travis Fimmel (Vikings) and Colson Baker, more commonly known as Machine Gun Kelly.
Thomasville native and executive producer Allen Cheney said this week he was excited to bring another motion picture project to his hometown, resulting in more positive impact on his home community.
In addition to the professional actors, crew and support personnel, the project will also employ area residents in support roles and as local background actors and extras to complete the cast. Although COVID-19 guidelines and regulations will impact the production, some 50 extras will be needed for various scenes.
The action centers on Baker’s character making a run with a bag of cash after a robbery of a major crime boss goes wrong. Nursing a potentially fatal wound, the fugitive leaves town on a bus heading from Florida into Georgia, only to be betrayed by his father, played by Bacon.
On Monday, Megan Fox and her bf the MGK guy were spotted at Whole Foods then Lucky Goat on Thomasville Rd. Fun to see social media and the local news light up about this type stuff.
