Just caught this movie on Netflix for the first time over the weekend and holy crap!
Gyllenhaal's sociopath camerman entrepreneur character was one of the better performances I've seen in recent years. Rotten Tomatoes has a 95% rating for it, which I agree with. Anyone else love it as much? Or if you hate it, why?

I particularly don't like dark movies. I like walking out of movies feeling feeling upbeat and smiley (hope that make sense).

Jake did a great acting job for sure

I thought it was a phenomenal movie and a low budget one at that. I recommend you watch "the loft" if you haven't already.

I loved it. Unlike what DanC said, I like darker movies. As long as I feel entertained I feel decent about watching a flick.

This one though, I've been telling everyone to check it out. Glad Netflix picked it up.

It's good not great. It's a rehash of the old "what will media do to get a story" gimmick. Gyllenhall was good. 7/10
