• FULL FIELD: Quicken Loans National

• COURSE: Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, 7,385 yards, par 71. Sculpted along the shores of Virginia’s Lake Manassas, RTJ got its beginnings when the renowned architect discovered the land during an aerial site survey for another project. Jones loved the terrain so much that he bought the acreage himself and commenced on designing a layout that would attract a world-class membership. RTJ opened in 1991 and became the early home of the new Presidents Cup, playing host to the U.S.-vs.-International team matches four times between 1994 and 2005. This will be the Quicken Loans National’s first visit, as the tournament ventures away from Congressional CC in odd-numbered years.

• FEDEXCUP: Winner receives 500 points.

• CHARITY: The Tiger Woods Foundation, with proceeds earmarked for two Tiger Woods Learning Center campuses in Washington, D.C., along with 25 Tiger Woods Scholars who come from the D.C. area.

• FIELD WATCH: Defending champion Justin Rose and THE PLAYERS titleholder Rickie Fowler join tournament host Tiger Woods atop the marquee. Jimmy Walker gives the lineup three players from among the top 15 in the Official World Golf Ranking. … The lineup includes 13 PGA TOUR winners from this season, including recent winners Danny Lee (Greenbrier Classic) and Scott Piercy (Barbasol Championship). … Scotland’s Stephen Gallacher and England’s Andy Sullivan cross over from their European Tour schedules to play at RTJ. … Ollie Schniederjans, who won the 2014 Mark H. McCormack medal as the No. 1 amateur in the world, will be making his pro debut this week on a sponsor exemption.

• 72-HOLE RECORD: 267, Tiger Woods (2009 at Congressional CC), Nick Watney (2011 at Aronimink GC).

• 18-HOLE RECORD: 62, Anthony Kim (1st round, 2009 at Congressional CC), Hunter Mahan (4th round, 2009 at Congressional CC), Nick Watney (3rd round, 2011 at Aronimink GC).

• LAST YEAR: Justin Rose captured the tournament’s first playoff, surviving a late mistake to defeat Shawn Stefani on the first extra hole. Holding a share of the lead as he played the 72nd hole at Congressional, Rose hooked his approach shot into the water and had to scramble to hole a 15-foot bogey. That left Stefani alone in front until he bogeyed No. 17, narrowly missing a birdie at No. 18 that would have won the crown. Stefani then duplicated Rose’s mistake on the second pass through No. 18, making double bogey as Rose played safely for a winning par. It was Rose’s second victory at the National, joining Woods as the event’s only multiple winners.

• STORYLINES: Woods, whose early departure from The Open Championship marked the first time he’s missed the cut in back-to-back majors, seeks a rebound in his namesake event. Before St. Andrews, he had three rounds in the 60s at the Greenbrier Classic. … Woods, Ernie Els and Vijay Singh are among 10 entrants who have experience at RTJ from one of the four Presidents Cups played there. Singh and Davis Love III are the only ones who competed in all four. … Walker has a chance to join world No. 2 Jordan Spieth as the only men with more than two PGA TOUR wins in 2014-15. … Just four weeks remain in the FedExCup’s regular season, as players seek places inside the top 125 on the points list to qualify for The Barclays.

• SHORT CHIPS: The National is playing later on the calendar than previous editions, bumped from its usual early July slot by a quirk that has one fewer week between the U.S. Open and The Open. The timing may change again next year, too, as the TOUR adjusts its schedule to help accommodate golf’s return to the Olympics stage in Rio de Janeiro. … Billy Hurley III has notched two of his seven career top-10 finishes at the Quicken Loans National – a tie for fourth in 2012 and T8 last year.

• TELEVISION: Thursday-Friday, 2:30-6:30 p.m. ET (Golf Channel). Saturday, 1-2:30 p.m. (GC), 3-6 p.m. (CBS). Sunday, 1-2:30 p.m. (GC), 3-6:30 p.m. (CBS).

After that 61 I was wondering what his round would be like today. He held up very well answering Haas' charge.

Tiger played about like I expected. Made a charge but once he got in striking distance of the lead he faltered.
