Two questions.....
What are your restaurant recommendations (prefer seafood, steak and italian but open to others--staying at Doubletree downtown)?
What are best places for live music (for older folks....classic rock, country, jazz pop, etc.)?

Savour is next to your hotel and is a quality choice.
IL Lusso
Lucilla
Giorgios, Clusters & Hops, Food Glorious Food, Sage, Cypress

Best option for music Saturday may be a little out of the way - Bradfordville Blues Club is having shows outdoors under the oaks - Joey Gilmore this weekend. Also out of the way is Fish Camp at Lake Iamonia for local food and music.
Junction at Monroe isn't too far away and has good acts sometimes. If you're in town Sunday, The Allman Betts Band is playing at The Moon.

Other places have live music outdoors like Tally Fish House/Hurricanes and there may be one at the new bar at the top of the DoubleTree, Eve on Adams.

I haven't been yet, but Charlie Park is a new rooftop bar next to Cascades Park.

5th and Thomas (Mid town) if they are reopened yet. Classic Rock and some country.

Closed and I haven't seen any plans for reopening (from last month):

"We wish to announce that Finnegan’s Wake and Fifth & Thomas will not reopen when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted by the Governor," the post said. "Our leases are expiring and the uncertainty of times going forward have contributed to this decision."

Finnegans is under new ownership but not sure if they've reopened yet.
