Let me go back in time to my favorite Jimbo moment like when he was so football savy he had cook, yeah Dalvin cook riding the pine. Number 7 was playing a lot all season and sprained his ankle to FORCE Jimbo to play Dalvin. Weeks later Jimbo tried to save face and Say he knew cook was a game changer…can change numbers on the score board.
that was the beginning of the end. The Jimbo I/we loved died in 2014. Then we turned into a cluster we still aren’t out of.

I think our pass D shuts down their running game which is why I differ with Aslan.

It is OVER for Milton. He tried and its commendable he came back to play but he is nothing but a shell of his former self. He doesn't read defenses like he did, he doesn't know the offense like he should and he is basically immobile. How many times did his knee literally give out on him? We don't have an offensive line good enough to protect him. His arm is shot and he can't throw deep. He won't be here next year so its not useful to keep starting him with a terrible offensive line that might get him injured again.

As I write this they are losing but no matter the outcome of the game, I think its time to start Purdy. We need to start playing the younger guys in preparation of next year. The defense will be worse next year as they will lose Johnson and Thomas at DE so they will need to score more points and that hinges on improved QB play as the offensive line will still be horrible. Purdy will only get better with snaps and that comes at the expense of Milton's playing time.

Aside from next year, we need someone mobile behind the line THIS year if we are going to beat anyone besides UMass. Dillingham's offense is predicated on a QB that can run and Milton can no longer run. With Fuller running the defense you have to score points and you cant score points if you have an immobile QB behind a terrible OL that gives up sacks on a consistent basis to THREE MAN DEFENSIVE LINES. Enough is enough...

Question is are we going to end up like FSU did? A bunch of highly ranked recruiting classes and no offensive line.

this is how we win

this team runs the ball and a few .. very few times throws to one WR. This one guy is like 80% of their passing game ..

maybe our defense can play smart like the second half .. maybe not .. really do not know. but we can be play stupid ball and focus on flat out stopping the run if we are not too worried about the pass. stop the run and basically double teaming the one WR on the team in all passing downs and that should do it. If we get lucky and get good field position .. they will live on their side of the field and rarely cross the 50

If there is anything we can do it is shut down the run with our DL and I think even our DB can shut down a bad passing attack if it all goes to one WR ..

we shut down their run and we win the game .. unless we turn the ball over ..
