Yes, that is what I wrote. I never said the kid stinks or can't play at FSU. Watched his film at Western Michigan and wonder if he was big enough to play DT at a P5 program. The hit on Fiske but once again...When it comes to evaluating and it is an important part of the process is meeting these players in person. I never met Fiske and he looked small. Until late in the season last year I was correct on my evaluation. It is not until FSU change their scheme and let him just play did Fiske play on the field take off. What is funny is 12Nole probably was against taking a kid from Western Michigan.

No Question - FSU does need to look at the lower levels for players. You also have to be careful because there are not many Verse/Fiske type players. If not for Pat's brother scouting Syracuse would FSU have found out about Verse.

I think the bulk of our transfers should come from starters at other programs and not hope. Minus Trey Benson who was cheap(which I’d be ok with) no stars just guys who had shown they had ability at the college level

Yes several programs pay their kids nothing or very little. So we absolutely can. Take the starting center at Harvard bet he gets $0 from NIL.

IMO, this team doesn't have an alpha on either side of the ball. That is one of the biggest issues.
