The Florida State women’s basketball team (9-2, 1-0 ACC) will host Drexel (3-3) on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.
The Seminoles and Dragons will meet for the second time in the series on Sunday. FSU defeated Drexel in Philadelphia last season, 76-56.
Ta’Niya Latson continues to lead the nation in scoring, posting 28.6 points per game with a total of 286 points. FSU ranks second in offense, scoring 94.2 points per game.

Latson was named the ACC Player of the Week on Monday by the league’s Blue Ribbon Panel, as FSU opened ACC play against SMU on Dec. 8.
Latson posted back-to-back career highs in scoring, leading the Noles at Tennessee with 38 points, setting a career high with 15 field goals and tying most in the nation this season. Her performance also tied the third-best scoring total in program history. She followed that performance by scoring 39 points in the 93-85 victory over SMU.
Latson tied the second-highest single-game point total in program history set by Roneeka Hodges in 2005 at Maryland. Latson owns eight of the top 20 scoring performances in FSU history.
Latson has the third and fourth highest single-game totals this season in the country. She is the only player among the Power 4 to register multiple games scoring at least 38 points. She has scored at least 30 points in 18 career games, including four this season.
Florida State, is the only team to produce two different 38-point single game scorers this season behind Latson and Makayla Timpson. FSU is also the only program to have three players ranked within the top 40 in field goals made this season, with Latson (99) in first.
Latson wins the ACC Player of the Week for the second time this season. It is the 16th weekly honor of her career.
