The Florida State women’s tennis team will travel to the east coast for its first two conference matches this weekend beginning with Boston College on Friday at 3 p.m. in Weymouth, Massachusetts, before traveling to Syracuse, New York, for a match scheduled at 11 a.m. on Sunday against No. 45 Syracuse at the Drumlins Country Club.

The Seminoles are 19-2 all-time against Boston College and 7-5 all-time against Syracuse. The Noles defeated both opponents last season at home by a score of 7-0. FSU is looking to maintain the success it saw last season in the ACC, finishing with a 9-4 conference record.

Florida State is fresh off a 6-1 win last weekend against Charleston Southern and is looking to extend its seven-match win streak. FSU looks to stay hot on the doubles courts, where they have a 19-2 record this spring season and have claimed the doubles point in all 10 matches they have played.

The Noles are led on the doubles courts by Eva Shaw and Maria Juliana Parra Romero, the 86th-ranked pair in the country. The duo is 7-0 including six wins on Court 1. In singles, No. 125 Mary Boyce Deatherage continues to showcase her talent in her freshman season, winning her 13th match last weekend, improving her season record to 13-1 overall.
Live stats for both matches will be available on Seminoles.com.
