Played for the National Championship with ND in 2012 and got blown out. Faced academic adversity in 2013 and sat out. Played well for most of 2014, but the wheels came off after losing to FSU and Brian Kelly turned on him. Now he's playing for us and can completely overcome the odds with a better coach, more talent around him, and a fan base that is ready to embrace him.
