The first game I watched was an 18-17 loss to OU in the Orange Bowl after the 1980 season I believe.
That was followed by 6 mediocre seasons.
Then the dynasty started. 13 straight incredible years. They were so fun.
FSU football was and always is one of my favorite things.
I’m so sad for the young people who haven’t witnessed a great string of seasons. And now we have another disappointing start. I’m at a total loss for words as to where to go.
Our only hope is that we can hold together a great recruiting class because that’s one of the 2 ways out of this mess. We are stuck with Norvell for at least 3 more years. I hope the best for him. I like him. But, man, something is wrong with some of these coaches. Coaching is the other way out of this. We’ve gotta have both good coaching and good players to be elite. We have neither right now and that is killing me.
