Let's note who was disappointing on defense. Darrell Jackson, Joshua Farmer, Patrick Payton, DJ Lundy, Shyheim Brown. Oh look, it's a list of all the guys who extorted us for more NIL money this off-season. What a surprise! Defense played like they just got paid up front and mailed it in. I think we have a serious culture problem with this roster, specifically on defense. They play for money. Once they got their money, what else do they have to play for? GT looked hungry, like they were playing to win the football game. We looked lazy. We need to completely overhaul our recruiting and NIL process. Something is very wrong here. I sense a culture of greed and entitlement. There was no firey leadership like we had last year with Verse, Bethune, etc. No leaders on this defense.
