We all know this is a long haul and Norvell has done a great job at flipping the roster and setting up a recruiting class. But Saturday was entirely his fault. He did not take the game seriously, did not remember and reinforce to his team and staff that we do our job first before we have fun. He has not declared a starting QB. He realizes on stats for odd situations. The problem is there's a difference when Alabama goes for it on 4 down on your own 33 and a team the only one 3 games last year. I think Norvell may single handedly change the stats to kicking is the best option. Then he doesn't go with stats in defensive situations, like the last play of the game. I could go on. Bottom line Norvell no longer gets the benefit of doubt. He is not as good and prepared as he thinks he is. And he can't just rely on his coordinators to make the right decisions. One thing Jimbo did right his first few years is he did everything. He left nothing to chance with his staff.
