Kenny Rogers

Sad to see him go. I know I know, he was older and past his prime but it brings back memories of when I was younger. My parents used to play his records
He died at age 81 which not too long ago I would have said was really old...amazing how it doesn’t seem that old the closer I get...

Kenny Rogers and the First Edition , live and in person from Tully Gym. Spotlight act on the night before the one and only “annual” Turtle Derby. Vintage 1970!

The Gambler was the first 8track I bought with my own money. 1978 was the year and I was in the fourth grade. Time flies.
