Has anyone here purchased a mattress online? If so, any thoughts or recommendations?
Thanks

I bought my current bed online several years ago, and I have really liked it. Not sure it's really what you're talking about though.

I bought the W Hotel bed from their website. Caught it when it was on sale with free shipping. It's a traditional bed though, not the foam mattress in a box.

We are looking at them.

Nolah is interesting because it is one of the coolest "they" say, and the cooler the better. It all depends on how you sleep, do you need firm to really firm or medium firm?

If I buy online, they must have a complete free return policy, including shipping, and a decent period to try.

When we bought ours it was a 100 night sleep test. Not a bad deal.

Yes, I spent A LOT of time researching (there are SO MANY to choose from). I looked at the purple...their marketing alone almost sold me (great stuff!), Helix, Tuft & Needle, and Saatva. We wound up going with a Saatva.

We first purchased the middle one called Luxury Firm, but after a few weeks just couldn't get comfortable. So, we bit the bullet and ate the shipping costs to swap out for the plush soft. That was over a year ago and we couldn't be happier. What a great mattress for under $1k. Outstanding, English Speaking Customer Service Too!

We've had a Tuft and Needle for about a week. 100 day return policy. So far its good. Old one was overdue so anything was an improvement. less $ than many comparable options in the stores. Did have to dispose of our old one (dropped off at recycling company). Is not as tall as last one. its about a 6 on firm scale, I'd rather more firm, she doesn't so she wins. No complaints on it sleeping hot.

I stayed at the W Buckhead for the Bama game and definitely thought to myself that the bed was pretty comfortable.

We didn't buy our current mattress online but found a great deal at City Furniture down here in South Florida.

Polling on the Main Board indicates that Tuft and Needle was the highest rated and a bunch of people loved Purple mattress as well.

I was leaning towards the Purple mattress but wtf is that powder? Couldn't get over that.

I'm planning on buying one in the next month or two and I'l probably get Lull or Tuft & Needle.

I was given a Craftmatic adjustable bed. My wife and I want to replace the mattress. Any recommendations?

So you don't like any of the above recommendations? Do you need an adjustable bed. You know you could put just about any bed on an adjustable frame for a price.

Dammit, now I'm thinking of switching to Leesa. Every time I start reading reviews I change my mind.

You sound like me. This same site ranks the Nolah as the the best at "cooling," which is really about removing heat. But it comes in only one firmness and we are looking for something a little bit more firm.

Mine was overdue, so just decided to pull the trigger as anything would be an improvement. I will keep looking during my 100 day window but am content with the T&N.

I second the recommendation of the Saatva. After way too much internet research, we bought the luxury firm last year, and it is a very comfortable mattress. After reading a lot of on-line reviews stating that foam mattresses are comfortable for sleeping, but not optimum for other horizontal activities, I decided that I wanted an innerspring mattress. At my age, I can use all of the help I can get.

Here is the problem with a post like that. It makes me wonder, "What mattresses do porn stars prefer? Surely they would know what mattress works best.." Then I end up in the dirty half of the internet and I still haven't found what I am looking for.

As with golf clubs, I don't need to play the same equipment that the pro's use. I'm in the market for game improvement technology.

To heck with porn stars!! Buy the ones that Marlon Brando and Al Pacino slept on.

If it is good enough for the Corelones when they "go to the mattresses" it's good enough for this old Nole.
Does it come with a horse head?
Asking for a friend.

I need a mattress, and am just flat overwhelmed at the variety of them. I am not spending a grand on a mattress, because I’m poor. I figure if I need a mattress, box spring, sheets, comforter and frame a grand is my entire budget.

Hampton and roads seem to fit that budget. Anyone used mattress firm instead of these needle and hay sites above?

We're on night 4 of the Leesa and no complaints. Not too firm, not too soft, good motion isolation, just right.
FYI we moved from a standard queen mattress with added 4in memory foam topper to the king sized Leesa.

I've got a leesa being delivered tomorrow, I found the ratings to be very good as an overall mattress, so we shall see.

Thoughts so far? We had ours on the floor for 3 weeks before the frame was delivered Friday, still no complaints!

We have had the regular leesa, been sleeping on it for over 2 weeks now, delivery was delayed a few days. The wife absolutely loves it, so that's a big plus.

I do like it a lot, but when we go on the road to FSU games, I find the hotel beds are so soft my back kills me. Then we come home and it takes me 1 night and my back is back feeling great.

I think if I put it out our garbage here will take it, they pretty much take anything no questions asks.

Fletch: I'm afraid I'm gonna have to pull rank on you. I didn't want to have to do this. I'm with the Mattress Police. There are no tags on these mattresses.
