Is FSU going to hire a new womens cross country coach? Karen Harvey had FSU as an elite program at one time, it would be nice to see FSU become a power again.

FSU is hosting the Nationals even as I type. Anybody have news? Adriaan Wildschutt is one of the favorites after being runnerup last year and both squads are ranked.

FSU is making some noise in the Indoors, as three athletes have national best marks after this weekend. Adriaan Wildschutte’s number two all time NCAA mark in the indoor 5,000 was powerful, Trey Cunningham lowered his all time 60 hurdles time to 7.42, and Lauren Ryan ran the fourth fastest NCAA time in the 3,000.

In bummer news, last years triple jump powerhouse, little Ruta Lasmane followed former jumps coach Keith Herston out to Lubbock to continue her collegiate career. https://texastech.com/sports/track-and-field/roster/ruta-lasmane/11777

Dunno current lineups, but the 4x1s might be fun to watch. The 100s as well.
I hope you enjoy the show, squiffster.

Smaller turnout this year, quite a few participants from USF and Dartmouth then it drops off. The ladies who just ran the 800m were suffering after the finish, they put all their energy into it until there's none left.

FSU's Francois took the lead half way through the men's 800m and never looked back. The G&G women's 100m relay blew away the field.

These kids don't have an ounce of fat on them, the athleticism is through the roof.

Now the track is swarming with high school participants, I'm sure it's a thrill for the peeps. Jax Bolles has a big contingent, kids from everywhere!

FSU men with a tight 55-54 lead over UVA after 10 of 21 events in this weekend’s ACC outdoor championships.
The women are 22 points out of the lead after 9 of 11 events.
We have some firepower coming up…
Men with a good shot to win it, women likely not. Go Noles!!

Men are cruising, up 133 to 89 over Va Tech, with only the 5K and 4x4 left…. Noles have a great chance to win both events.
Ladies will not overcome the 108-93 Miamah lead, but should hold off Duke for second.

Edit. Noles are men’s T &F Outdoor champs once again… in a runaway.
Ladies were overtaken by Duke in the final event to take a strong third.
If Ruta Lasmane had not transferred to Texas Tech, her points in the Long Jump and Triple Jump quite possibly would have meant a title for the women.

The men go after a strong finish at the Outdoor Track & Field natties tonight. Trey Cunningham in the 110 hurdles is an amazing talent looking to cement his spot as an all time great. We could sneak into points in the triple jump after finishing 2 & 3 in the Long Jump. JoJo Martin has the second best 100 time, and Adriaan and Muhumed are both dark horse contenders in the 5K.
Currently in third place, we missed a long shot chance for a title when the 4 x 100 crew did not push thru into the finals.
Go Noles!!
