NOTE: Everything that is reported in the War Room must stay on this board. That's the way it works. Sometimes the info is sensitive enough that it simply doesn't need to be passed outside the Tribal Council. This is a special feature for subscribers only. The reason why it is posted on the premium board is because it's the only way to ensure that the info stays is exclusive to Seminole Nation. That means not to post on the Rivals national message board, any message board outside of the Tribal Council or on social media.

Yes, it’s really happening. The location is picked, the design is complete, and fundraising is going strong.
First, the new football-only complex will be built where it was originally slated to go when first announced back in 2018, but with a twist. The original plan called for the facility to be sandwiched between Stadium Drive and the practice fields. That’s still the case, but under the new plan, drawn up by Populous, the complex will be L-shaped and wrap around, with the front of the building facing Doak Campbell Stadium to the south. The front portion of the three-story complex will actually overlap the second outside practice field, shortening it by about a third.
We don’t have specifics on pricing, but we were told it will probably cost somewhere in the $70 million range. To that end, the Seminole Boosters have already raised over $40 million towards the project.
There are also plans to renovate the Moore Athletics Center. Some of the changes include expanding the weight room and dining hall, building an academic support center, and creating areas dedicated to hosting recruits. The price tag for these upgrades will probably come in at around $20 million.
The drawings from Populous are already being shown to high-level donors, so the official announcement should come any day now.
Last month, a Florida State task force voted 6-2 against keeping Doak Campbell’s name on the football stadium. That vote had many convinced that it was just a matter of time before the school officially announced a name change.
Despite the momentum appearing to head in that direction, we have been told that a name change isn’t a forgone conclusion. In fact, some sources tell us that it’s actually unlikely that Doak Campbell’s name will be removed (at least this time around). Of course, political winds can change at a moment’s notice, so I wouldn’t say this is done just yet.
* I realize there are serious political and social implications surrounding this issue. But please do not get into that debate here. We are sharing what we’ve heard and wanted to pass it on to our readers. Thanks for everyone’s cooperation.
The Warchant practice observers have shared with everyone that Jordan Travis appears to be ahead of McKenzie Milton in the race for starting quarterback. This is hardly surprising considering that the UCF transfer is coming back from a horrific injury, hasn’t played in 2 1/2 years and is just a few weeks into learning a new offensive system. On the other hand, a now fully healthy Jordan Travis has a year’s head start working with Mike Norvell and offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham.
That said, we have been told the gap between the two signal-callers is wider than most believe. Per sources in and around the program, Travis is significantly ahead of the other quarterbacks because of his consistency in practice and play-making ability. He has a much better grasp of the offense and has done a significantly better job protecting the football this spring.
On the other hand, Milton has a long way to go to seriously challenge for starting honors. He still has a little over four months to make up this ground before Norvell needs to name the starter. But that could be a tall order considering Travis’ ever-growing lead for the job.
Even if Milton doesn't beat Travis out, sources around the program tell us his impact on the team is still extremely positive. He has natural leadership skills, and his preparation and work ethic have been great examples for the younger QBs.
