Will make this roster look like the Cowboys from the mid 90’s at this point. These are guys who I would consider assets at this point, meaning if everyone else entered the portal, the could be replaced by a G5 school player of similar ability extremely easily.

Now Hester, Joseph, Crier, Lester, Bates, Moore, McCoy, Daniels, Brown, H Williams (if he even cares at this point), Danzy, Sampson, Wynn, and Rawls all have some potential and are fringe 2 deep players on an 6-8 win type team. But that is not even 20 guys, basically all freshman and sophomores who got very little if any PT, you need 44 to fill out a two deep. We are also losing the two most productive players on last years team in our punter and kicker.
Just a little confused about the gameplan here, what are we filling 25-30 spots from the two deep via the portal? Are we banking on a true freshman DT to start against Bama? Even last year you could make a sensible two deep. Just trying to understand the gameplan here.
