Offensive game plan yesterday wasn’t terrible

Ok ok before the pitchforks come out, listen for a second…

I like the emphasis on the run in between the tackles as that seems to be one of the few things we actually do well

conceptually, I liked the bubble screens as a complement to that as you get to front 7 going side to side over and over, weakening them when you hit them up the middle

but the in game play calling wasn’t the best in the plays weren’t called and ordered for appropriate down/distance/field position.

even worse, the WR blocking was flat out awful. If we’re going to go with this offense this season, which again I believe makes sense, thr WR and TE on the edges better damn well block with a little more effort and intensity than yesterday
