FSU is #121 in penalty yards, near the very bottom of FBS. In fact there are only two P6 schools ranked lower.
UF, with a brand new staff and system, somehow is #5, right behind the ultra disciplined service academies Navy and Air Force.
This is not sour grapes. I've watched every game for both teams, and yes we commit some stupid penalties, but mostly we are just getting screwed. Meanwhile UF isn't getting called for anything. Yesterday UF had ONE penalty the whole game, and it was a false start.
Yes we've been among the most penalized teams in the country for literally decades now, and nothing is going to change. I just wish there was a better officiating system in place, and they did away with conference affiliated officials.
