I have heard some talk about how/when to get LK in the game. I think it makes sense, but I also think we are at a bit of a cross roads. The season is done. Nothing Luke can do will change that.
I think it's hard for MN to put LK in any game until the last four. Why? Luke does not want to but his ship this year for nothing. It makes no sense at all to play him a little bit in a fifth game. In fact, it would seem very dismissive of his career to do that.
As of now, we only have two QBs. DJU is hurt and out for the season so can't play even if we want him to. What happens if we put Luke in for a few drives this week and/or next, then Brock gets hurt and Luke HAS to play out the final games?
We are seeing more and more kids opt out versus using their shirt. I don't think he'd do that, but it does represent what a big deal it is for these kids. And it is. It's another year to play. Another year to make money.
