RIP. I attended a few of his private shows after Smithereens. For several years a friend of mine hired him annually to play at his party. Seemed like a pretty cool dude.

I went to one of those parties with him playing, it was a friends birthday party in Panama City Beach. He worked for a company that had numerous ex stars you could hire. I remember Pat Travers was with the company also. He gave me a brochure at the party when I talked to him

Underrated band. "Only a Memory" is one of my favorite songs of that genre/era. Saw them a couple of times in Atlanta in the late '90s/early 2000s. Sucks that Pat's gone.
