Big road matches this week at No. 2 Virginia (Thursday 8 PM, ACCN) and No. 17 Notre Dame (Sunday 12 PM, ESPNU) for the third-ranked Noles. Brian Pensky and Ran Iwai met with the media today to chat.

FWIW, TopDrawerSoccer.com which covers the sport well, has FSU at No. 2, UVA at No. 3 and ND at No. 15. Really bewildered that the Noles are No. 7 in the coaches poll with 0 losses on the year and the goal differential they have. We’ll obviously find out just how good FSU is this week.

In today's release we are now up to #3, but I agree that we've been underrated for much of the year. No respect for a defending National Champion, and an unbeaten one at that. It's nuts. We've given up just 4 goals all season (one behind the NCAA leader) and two of those were PK goals lol.

And oh yeah, #1 in the nation in scoring offense. We've been the most dominant team in the nation, and it's not really close.

Yes the next six games are imposing for sure, and we are not likely to get through those completely unscathed. But this team, up to this point, has done nothing to show there was any drop off from last year's championship team. And they should have been ranked accordingly all season. The fact we were ranked #12 a few weeks ago is just absurd.

Appreciate it, at the time I uploaded the videos the rankings hadn’t come out yet. Glad to see they got the bump. Will update thread and videos.
