Interesting comment from a guy who makes 1/8 th of Jimbo

I don't get the sense there is any jealously, just someone in the industry saying what a lot of people are thinking about football coach salaries.

Glad FSU is only mentioned as the OLD employer.

Here’s the thing about the salary inflation. When Mack Brown took the North Carolina head coaching job in 1988 he made $95,000 a year or about five times the average US salary of $20k. Now Jimbo made $7.5 million a year or one hundred and forty four times the average US salary of $52k.

Thats insane. Might as well be investing in bitcoin for that level of outpacing the market.

They should be capped at $2 to $2.5 million. If they can make more doing something else, good on them.

Will @DFSNOLE give out a case of steak knives to the poster who gets us to that milestone?

I am getting some good scadenfreude out of the fact that Gators everywhere are in a state of deep panic as Matt Corral the former five star (now high 4 star) #3 ranked pocket passer who has been committed and a recruiting class leader pulling in other recruits...has now backed out and is committing to Ole Miss.

Also if you ever want to read tweet after tweet from poor scorned women, read any tweet by Willie Taggart. Just a horde of butthurt Oregon fans.

“Despite the legal drinking age in Pennsylvania being 21 and the existence of state laws against hazing, the grand jury heard testimony from members of different fraternities at Penn State describing events such as a “gauntlet” and an “obstacle course” in which pledges were forced to drink alcohol at various stations. But there was also testimony that went beyond drinking and decency.

The report described activities such as the “elephant walk,” in which pledges had to walk in a circle while inserting a finger into the anus of the pledge in front of them and cupping the scrotum of the pledge behind them. There were also “crate races,” where pledges had to finish the contents of a crate of several bottles of alcohol and beer; and forcing pledges to drink concoctions of old food and condiments blended together — and in one case, a drink made from cat food, urine, semen and alcohol — which usually resulted in the participants vomiting.”

FSU QB coach Randy Sanders lands the HC job at ETSU. Good fit. Glad to see him get it—he’s been close on a couple jobs in the past

Sources: Ohio State QB commit Emory Jones expected to visit Florida State today for an official visit (VIP)

I can confirm Emory Jones has left UF and is on his way to Florida State.
