When there is a preseason Heisman Trophy campaign launched in January and an opener against LSU, to say there were high expectations for Jordan Travis would be an understatement.

Travis has guided FSU to wins over LSU and Clemson, powered a top-10 scoring offense and helped the Seminoles establish themselves as the ACC’s best team. Florida State is also viewed as one of the top four teams in the College Football Playoff.

While there has been praise for how Travis has played, and shown pain tolerance with an injury, there has also been criticism about how he distributes passes and how much of the passing game has revolved around Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman.

We’ll look to give some context by discussing some of the injury issues while also using charts to illustrate where Travis is throwing his passes in specific games.
