Still dandgum proud of this team with no spring season.
I’m sick. We are a great team but couldn’t get it done. Missed Berkeley bad. Zipay too.
Refs hurt us for sure, but we needed to stay more aggressive and get another goal!
I have to admit, I had a bad feeling about this ever since I saw Santa Clara beat UNC. They looked fast and loose and no pressure at all. But we had a great season and I am glad I came up here!
Guess I'm cursed My favorite pro team, Chelsea, has the same problem.. Highly skilled players that regularly control the flow of play, but problems finishing in the final third
Flynn had huge shoes to fill and she played amazing. She will only get better.
Flynn played great and I didn’t mean to diminish her contribution. Madril played great but her with malia was a fantastic combo.
No more titles games against teams from California. Think that makes us 0-3, right? 2-0 versus ACC.
I don't know if it's Mark's scheme or just the players, but we don't employ players up that turn and create shots.

I’m not sure I understand what you are saying but I thought nighswonger had an amazing shot that she created. If you mean an attacking player like turnbow, I think Jodi will be that player for us.
I also wanted to add that my comments about missing Berkley is more about her leadership than anything.
If I remember right Jamia Fields was able to receive the ball with her back to the defender, pivot and shoot against Virginia in the 2014 title game. The might have been the last time.
She played WMF and was not asked to do that very often.
Cheyna Williams or Tiffany McCarty may have done that some.
I would like to see someone in KMacs position who can not only hold up the ball and distribute, but turn and attack quickly.
Right, it might have been Cheyna it all blurs together! In any case it's a great technique that can yield a dangerous shot and the Noles certainly needed more of those.
Tough loss esp when it is the last game of the season in the championship game. Still a great season.

"I love my Lady Seminoles Soccer team. Tough way to end the season given the slippery conditions and a horrible missed call on a PK. That said, dealing with just such disappointments are good rehearsals for life! Go Noles"
Who should be coming back and who may be coming back.
We should have Roque, Lynch, NIghswonger, Howell, Iwai, Flynn, Brown, Pavlisko, Payne, Nesbeth, Zipay, Mitchell, Madril and Zhao back.
I know KMac is planning to leave. I don't know about Carle and Robbins.
Someone like Howell could leave early, but I haven't heard anything. Don't panic.
I'm really hopeful Robbins comes back b/c she essentially missed 2+ seasons due to injury.
We should know in a month or two I would think, but with Mark we may not know until the fall schedule and roster is posted.
