Stemming from a previous discussion earlier this year, I have been putting a good amount of additional research into this as well as exercising my memory banks. In college, there are different types of All-Americans. There is unanimous All-Americans, consensus All-Americans, and then just regular All-Americans. I would consider these players to be the equivalent of five star players at the college level, especially first team All-Americans. Second-team All-Americans and All Conference players would be more like low five stars to high four star college players.

Similar to that vein, not all high school 5 stars are created equal. There are the mega, essentially "can’t miss" five stars like Travis Hunter, Derwin James, Ernie Sims types where everyone and their mother recognizes them being a national, top of the line, elite recruit. I am calling these "Unanimous Five-Stars". These recruits are top 10 National recruits by virtually every service out there. After that there are guys like Sam McCall, Akeem Dent, Dalvin Cook, where several, but not perhaps all, services recognize them quite as Five-Stars. They typically fall in the 15-30 range in the individual player rankings. Then there are Five-Stars like Demorie Tate, Brian Burns where maybe a single service recognizes them as such. They typically fall in the 30-50 ranking range by most services.

With that all said, this is who I determined would likely have been 5 stars during the Dynasty years..
