Ann Bowden for Ring of Honor!!
I don't know how many of you know that Ann was the person who initiated the idea of Chief Osceola and Renegade as the opening "act" for FSU Football games. She should be honored for this before she passes...and I know Bobby would approve. I also know that many of you (myself included) hold Jeff B's ascendence to OC in 2000 in stead of Norm Chow or another more qualified candidate against her. Of course, you are right to blame her...I know I do, but that does not alter the fact that she was instrumental in originating the GREATEST opening to any college football game EVER...that is Chief Osceola and Renegade charging onto the field...spear flaming...she should be honored and immortalized for this contribution to our tradition...this post is about starting a grass roots referendum to honor her for this magnificent contribution to the tradition of excellence in FSU football!!
