Sounds like all the info has been released and people are being named. You know the gossip sites are working through the data as quickly as they can. Sucks for people whose lives are about to be turned upside down.

I find it funny how many .gov and .mil email addresses were used. Not sure how many are these are legit but anyone who actually used their work email to sign up is an idiot.

If you see a Grady listed it's not me damnit! :). As for Duggar, he molested his own sisters if I'm not mistaken. Good for him to be exposed even more.

well you don't have to be married and cheating to be on that site right? Isn't it a singles site too or only for cheating?

I hear they found out most of the female accounts were fake. 'it's okay honey! I didn't cheat....I couldn't find an actual woman."

I would guess the ones that were not fake made false claims on their personal descriptions. Because everyone on the internet is a french model.

How the mighty have fallen. And NOT so mighty. Jared Fogle turns out to be a creep. Josh Duggar turns out to be a sicko.

Feet of clay all around.

A/K/A Accountability.

Accountability to whom? We're not talking about criminal activity here.

I think, in terms, of public figures like Josh Duggar, who literally lobbies in DC for family values, and against gay marriage, etc, while simultaneously trying to cheat on his wife. And that's after molesting his sisters, which when it came out, they tried to paint as something is his past. Meanwhile, he was currently on Ashley Madison.

"I am a changed man, I no longer molest, I just cheat. But please don't let the gays marry, it's corrupting the moral fabric of our society."

The private citizens? I guess it's a harsh lesson in they should be using burner accounts and prepaid credit cards. Protect ya neck.

Don't disagree. To be clear, I have no problem exposing the hypocrisy of social conservatives who are hanging out on Ashley Madison.

We do tend to enjoy exposing hypocrisy of those with whom we disagree.....almost as much as defending those with whom we align with.

Sadly, the parents have been pitching new show ideas to producers after their show was canceled. One of the ideas involves counseling family that have children that were victims of sexual abuse.

In the end, it's all about the Benjamins.

As of 2014 it was actually a crime in 21 states to commit adultery.
But how about accountability to the person who married you under the assumption you weren't going to dip into some strange and bring home herpes?
Anyone in an open marriage isn't going to care if their partner is on this site. It's going to be the people who were being deceived that will be upset, and rightfully so, wouldn't you agree?

The adultery statutes that remain are never enforced.
And it's none of my business if you want to cheat on your wife.

To their spouses.

I don't feel sorry for someone who gets caught cheating. I don't care if you are a social conservative or not.

Whether cheating is a crime or is not is irrelevant, IMO.

"A woman arrested for public lewdness for allegedly having sex in a park is facing a surprising additional charge: cheating on her husband.
No, this wasn't in a Muslim country far away, it is happening in New York.
Suzanne Corona, a 41-year-old woman from Batavia, N.Y., just east of Buffalo, was busted along with 29-year-old Justin Amend last week, police said.
Although he was not sure how old the law was, the district attorney said one other person had faced similar charges in Batavia 13 years ago. Records indicate nearly a dozen others have been similarly charged statewide, according to ABC News."

The word "never" should be used more carefully...

Does it become your business if it's your wife I'm cheating with?

Oh, and Josh Duggar admits that he has become addicted to porn and has cheated on his wife.
How many times? Nineteen and counting?

What a scream.

The companion article says 5 people have been convicted in 40 years in New York. That's close enough to "never" for me.

I can think of at least five people that would see it differently.
I'm reminded of the cop explaining the difference between "stopping" and "slowing down" to the lawyer on the side of the road...

15k accounts used a .mil or .gov email address. What kind of nimrod uses his/her work account to sign up for a philandering website?

You have no idea whether they have a mutual agreement about it and now they're lumped in with "cheaters" for whom you have no sympathy.

I've just always assumed that a these sites were bs. Has anyone here or anyone you've known actually hooked up with anyone on these sites.

I think you'd have better chances on Craigslist as long as you had an ample supply of krab for trade.

Consider a "Cheater Hall of Fame:" Bill Clinton, Josh Duggar, Tiger Woods, Frank Gifford, etc., etc.

If you really want to know the answer, just go through the list. I doubt anyone is going to come out and say, "oh, I cheated by using this site!"

Trustify has the ability to search by email address. I've found one person I know by searching. Not surprised at all however. Has anyone come across someone's email address that surprised them?
