With the recent commits of Duke Johnson (Alabama) and Tarvos Alford (Ohio State), FSU's linebacker board needs to expand. Johnson was a heavy lean to the Seminoles until his visit to Alabama. Alford took a courtesy visit to FSU but decided to go to Ohio State. Where will FSU turn now? We will go over some of the players FSU will go after in this Bakers Dozen list. There are still plenty of linebackers on board but the Seminoles can't miss on this position in 2025.

1. OT Ziyare Addison (Sumner HS - Riverview, Fla.) 6-5, 270: Addison is one of the top offensive lineman in Florida if not the Southeast. He is a big-time prospect and right now the Noles lead. You just have to follow the visits and with Addison he continues to show up on campus. Addison has the athletic ability to play tackle and the strength to play inside at guard. He is one of the more versatile lineman in this year’s class. He is a must get for the Seminoles. They are one of the leaders for his services.

2. DT Myron Charles (Port Charlotte HS - Port Charlotte, Fla.) 6-4, 290: If Addison is priority No. 1 on the board, Charles is No. 2. He is another prospect that has been on FSU's campus multiple times. He is also a major priority. He has said and done all the right things. We feel it is only a matter of time before the Port Charlotte star commits to the Seminoles.

3. TE Elyiss Williams (Camden County-Kingsland, Ga.) 6-7, 235 (Committed to UGA): While committed to Georgia, Williams has shown up on FSU campus multiple times. He is a priority for FSU. Physically there are not many better-looking prospects in the country. He should be rated a five-star as Williams is most likely the top tight end in the country. Georgia will be hard to beat but Williams is giving FSU a legit shot to land him.

4. WR Dallas Wilson (Tampa Bay Tech, Tampa, Fla.) 6-3, 200 (Committed to Oregon): Wilson is one of the top receivers on FSU's board or is close to the top of the list. He is so smooth. He moves effortlessly when running routes. He catches the ball with ease. He is a complete player. You could argue he is the top rated receiver in Florida and one of the best in the country. This will be a tough get for FSU but they will give everything they can to land him.

5. WR Vernell Brown (Orlando Jones, FL) 5-11, 170: Brown is a major priority for this staff. One thing is when Mike Norvell and his staff zero in on a player they have a legit shot at landing him. Brown has Ohio State as his leader. FSU is going to fight hard to land him. He is a playmaker and one of the best athletes in Florida this year.

6. RB Byron Louis (Plantation American Heritage) 5-11, 200: Louis just took a recent visit to FSU. He is the top-rated back that FSU is recruiting at this time. The Seminoles have put themselves into this race. He gives you the total package at running back. Louis has both size and speed. Get him some daylight and Louis is off to the races.

7. DL Jalen Wiggins: (Rickards HS-Tallahassee, FL) 6-4, 250 (Committed to UF): Wiggins is committed to UF. That has not stopped FSU from recruiting Wiggins. They need to upgrade the defensive line and Wiggins adds another solid piece to that puzzle. He has the ability to play defensive end or move inside to tackle on pass-rush downs. He is a good athlete. He has the ability to stop the run. He can help set the edge on run plays.

8. LB Tavion Wallace (Wayne County-Jesup, Ga.) 6-1, 210: With the commitments of Johnson and Alford, Wallace becomes a major priority. He should probably be higher on this list. FSU needs linebackers and Wallace has the Noles on top. Johnson also had FSU leading but that went south quickly.

9. LB Zaydrius Rainey-Sale (Spanaway, Wash., Bethel HS) 6-2, 220: Sale came on a visit last summer. FSU was in good standing for him. Sale is another top-rated linebacker. He was committed to Alabama but that changed once Saban left. FSU has kept in contact with him. His recruitment comes down to him visiting FSU again. If they can get another unofficial visit followed up with an official visit, FSU should stand a chance.

10. G/C Max Buchanan (Sanford Seminole) 6-4, 275: Max will be part of a very good offensive line class for FSU. With Thomas already in the fold and FSU leading for Addison and Buchanan this OL class is off to a great start. Buchanan really likes FSU and they like him. He plays some tackle but we project him as a center in college.

11. WR Joshua Moore (Pembroke Pines West Broward HS) 6-4, 200: Keep an eye on Moore. He provides you a receiver with size. He is one of the bigger receivers on the board. He has massive hands. He can catch the ball away from his body. You will see that he runs solid routes. Moore is a receiver whose stock continues to rise. We feel FSU may make Moore a priority.

12. DB Gregory Thomas (Plantation American Heritage) 6-1, 180: Thomas has FSU as his leader. Now he probably just needs the ok from FSU's staff to pull the trigger. He has been on campus many times. He also is a position of need - safety. FSU is on commit watch for Thomas.

13 ATH Dallas Golden (Tampa Berkeley Prep) 6-0, 180: Golden took a recent visit to FSU. He is being recruited as a corner. He seemed lukewarm on his visit. Sometimes prospects don't want to show their hands. Notre Dame is going to be the main school FSU has to beat out for his services. He can play running back, receiver or defensive back in college.
