Tried to grab a couple of the big names from 69-71. Im sure missed some. Get over it. :) Kit it out as you wish, mostly looking for body lines and preferences.

And apparently, I really like black muscle cars.

I like them only slightly out of your order.

For me it’s

1
2
3
5
6
7
4

But I’d bang them all.

I mean drive. Drive them all.

Now I know you are screwing with me, there's only 7 options!

That was just how I listed them randomly. My order was
1A) Camaro
1B) Charger
2) Super Snake Cobra
3) Vette
4) Mustang
5) SS
6) 'Cuda

But I doubt I'd kick any of em out of my garage for talking to my pickup.

Oops, I got carried away, but the only one I would take out of the original order is the Mustang. I’ve never been a Stang or Vette fan, but obviously I wouldn’t kick them out of bed...I mean the garage.

The old Chargers aren’t my absolute favorite but they’re WAY up there. Probably the most reasonably priced of my true favorites.

Leaving all of the exotics out of it (and I’m partial to a lot of the older Limey models whether from the Jag, MG, AM, Triumph or Lotus lines), I think those old Chargers might be my all time favorite American sports car.

The 99-01 Plymouth Prowlers are way up there for me but that’s probably because they look more Limey than American.

And I’m also partial to Firebirds/Trans Ams not only because I had a sweet 1989 Miami Dolphin aqua blue with a T-top that got me through law school

(Similar to this one but more of a teal)

So the above body but this color

But I also love the 1970 Firebird

And of course the Classic 1977 Firebird/Trans Am as well.

I had a 93 that was the same hunter green you posted above. It had the full spoiler not the V6 version. Only thing I didn't like about it was the 3 spoke directionals. I have started looking again for a mid 90s just cause I miss having a car and really like the body style. Not my favorite car ever but something I could get and throw some HP into it for a toy. Oh, and having FI would make it easier to own here in the mtns.

That 70 in black tho. hubba hubba.

If I had space for a ground up, I would modify my budget and look at a late 60s Camaro / Charger. Been a dream of mine.

The 70 TransAm/Firebird is definitely an oddbird. In practically every color other than black it's not really that great looking even the glamor shots.

But put it in black and vavoom! Forget glamor shots, even dusty, crusty and rusty they look like pure unadulterated evil and sin.

Whenever I get a 70, it will be on pure blackout. Not a color beyond chrome on the outside and maybe some wood on the inside to be found.

Only 1 original 66 427 Cobra SS left and it went for over 5 million at auction in 2007.

Only one of those is a T/A. The rest are Formula 400s.
This is the best looking T/A:

Been dreaming of a 69 or so Camaro and a less sought after option is a Firebird. What is that, a 69? I personally like the hardtop lines better than a convertible.

Yes, 69. Best looking Firebird.

Just found this one on CL. Im not quite ready to pull the trigger, but it checks all the boxes. Need pics.

I had a couple of friends when I was in high school who had 1972 Pontiac GTOs 455HO. There wasn't a lot on the street locally that could run with them.

Hey! Knock it off! That was going to be another thread! :) I would totally do a GTO or even LeMans.

That CL car would be pretty awesome once redone.

I was looking at this one

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/292852406527

Other than the paint job it looks to be about 95% of the way to what I would want.

I'm not ready to pull the trigger on extra cars yet as our parking situation in Southwood is pretty bad (only a two car garage, only can fit another two on the driveway and can't park on the road nearby). So I might have to wait until I move in a couple of years before I have space for a beauty like this.

'72 was the ugliest of the GTOs.
gto1web.jpg

Funk, should be a rust free Colorado car. Probably a 326 but maybe a 350, can't read the emblem on the hood.

Tribe, that's a clone Trans Am. Don't know what it started out as. He doesn't say. Could be a nice car especially if you could get it for a little less.

Son of a....

Well that’s why before I would pull a trigger on any classic car I would bring someone in who really knew them.
