Former Florida State and NFL defensive back Corey Fuller is joining Mike Norvell's staff in an off-field role.
Fuller, who played at FSU from 1990 to 1994 and was also a starter for the Minnesota Vikings, has been a fixture in the Big Bend high school ranks for more than 20 years.
He has been a head coach at both Godby High and Gadsden High, where he was this past season.
He also worked in the college ranks before as the secondary coach at Florida A&M. In 2014, he even served as the interim head coach for stretch.
Fuller, 50, addressed the Gadsden County team in a video that was posted to Facebook by an assistant coach.
The Rickards graduate was a second-round pick of the Vikings in the 1995 NFL Draft and played until 2004.
