All,

Just thought I’d share....I wanted to get tested because I have the chance to ride with my dad, who is suffering from dementia who is in a skilled nursing facility, to a swallow test in a nearby hospital in a few days, I haven’t seen him in person since early June. I’ve never felt compelled to get tested because I’ve been safe and haven't had symptoms, but I thought this visit warranted a test. Here’s the timeline, test site at Holiday Park, Fort Lauderdale-

I downloaded the Gov2Go app at 2:00pm yesterday
I was able to get an appointment at 3:00-3:10
I jumped in the car at 2:15, got to the site early, around 2:40
The site was a ghost town, I navigated the coned drive up in about 30 seconds
I provided my reservation number and presented my Florida DL
I drove straight into the testing site tent and got swabbed in about 60 seconds
I was home by 3:00pm
I received my test results at 3:55pm via email (Negative)

Free, rapid government administered testing....it was an amazing experience, just thought I’d share some good news versus the daily doom and gloom...if you live in Broward...or North Dade or South Palm Beach County, and you want a test, this is a really viable solution.
