How in the hell is anybody touting that wandering endlessly to nowhere snoozefest of cringe dialogue and cartoonish acting as some sure fire Oscar shoo in? Hopefully Spielberg is embarrassed.
Do not waste your time or money.
It’s like some film school project where the professor just said “Make something self-indulgent that feels like it will never end. Your themes will be ennui and treacle. Also, spice it up with a random monkey.”

Churlish and insubordinate😜! Just kidding! But seriously, Hollywood never EVER misses a chance to congratulate itself. Everybody made a big deal about “Get Shorty” a few years back. Not worth it.

The film Get Shorty may be mediocre but the book it’s based on and basically every other thing Elmore Leonard wrote is brilliant.
