I was victim to that same speed trap.I received a speeding ticket by "aircraft" in Madison County on I-10 in 2007 or 2008. They definitely exist. The drone captures your speed, alerts the FHP a few miles down the road and they pick you off 1 by 1.

Aircraft time your car between marks on the highway. I think the drone may use radar.
