Back in 2013 we had a similar game at BC. Yes we won by 14 but if you watched that game, you know it was closer than the score. BC gave us all we could handle. 2008 Florida lost that clunker to Ole Miss and then went on to win the national championship. 2019 LSU struggled with Auburn that year. I could name countless other examples. This kind of thing happens. Just a slight lapse in preparation, focus, and intensity can result in this type of game. Let's not overreact. We have a big game next week and I'm sure the intensity and focus will be much better. That doesn't mean we will win, but we will definitely play with better effort next week. This was the perfect storm for a trap game. Coming off a big win, big game next week, up against a team we blew out last year, noon kickoff, shitty weather, and no fans in the stands. Norvell won't admit it but OBVIOUSLY we were looking ahead to Clemson and thought this game would be a walk in the park. That's exactly the kind of wake up call we needed. Also, BC played great. If they keep playing like that, they will win some games.
