A week after getting bowl eligible in a blowout win at rival Miami, the Florida State football team will look to build its second three-game winning streak of the season Saturday.

No. 23 FSU (6-3. 4-3 in ACC) will look for its second straight road win and third road win of the season at Syracuse (6-3, 3-2) in the newly-renamed JMA Wireless Dome (8 p.m. on ACC Network).

It's FSU's first game at Syracuse since 2018, a brutal 30-7 loss in Willie Taggart's first season which was the Orange's first win over FSU since the first time the teams played back in 1966. FSU won 33-30 last year in Tallahassee on a game-winning field goal from Ryan Fitzgerald at the buzzer. With a win Saturday, FSU would finish ACC play with a 5-3 record, its first winning record in conference play since 2016.

Although FSU is on the road and the teams have identical records, the Seminoles are favored by 7.5 points. There are a few reasons for this. Most notably, the Seminoles remain very healthy and should be at close to full strength against the Orange. FSU running back Treshaun Ward seemed to indicate on his Instagram Saturday morning that he'll be available, posting a caption "We back, 8 p.m."

Ward was FSU's leading rusher with 488 yards and three touchdowns before getting hurt against NC State. He dressed out and warmed up last week and Mike Norvell said he was available in an emergency, but the way the game played out with FSU quickly building a big lead, gave Ward one more week to recover.

There are a few questions to monitor for the Seminoles during pregame. Starting right tackle Jaszton Turnetine left the Georgia Tech game with an injury and played just one snap vs. Miami. Will he return to the lineup Saturday or will FSU continue to start Darius Washington, who relieved him and performed well against the Hurricanes? Additionally, FSU linebacker Brendan Gant suffered an injury late in the Miami game. Will he be available against Syracuse?

While a few members of FSU's offensive depth chart (Jackson West and Thomas Shrader) haven't been dressed out of late, the Seminoles remain pretty healthy considering they are nine games into the season.

On the other sideline, there are quite a few injury concerns for Syracuse entering Saturday's game. Starting quarterback Garrett Shrader left the Notre Dame game with an injury two weeks ago and didn't play last week vs. Pitt. There's been some confidence on the Syracuse beat that Shrader will return this week, but it's a question of how healthy he is. If he's unable to go, Syracuse backup Carlos Del Rio-Wilson has struggled with a 44% completion percentage, 342 passing yards and one touchdown/one interception in six games this season.

The Orange are also banged up in the secondary and the trenches. They've lost a few starters there to season-ending injuries and were without a few more players last week vs. Pitt.
