Let's just say the onside kick was ... unsuccessful.
Florida will run out the clock and win this one.
Florida 24, FSU 21 FINAL

Travis leads the offense on another long drive for a TD. Long in distance and time in this one. He found Wilson for a 5-yard TD.
Florida 24, FSU 21 :44 4th

Offense goes three and out. Inopportune time for that. Corbin gets one yard on first down. Travis sacked on second down. Then gets tackled on a scramble on third down.
Florida 24, FSU 14 5:12 4th

FSU defense allows one first down, but then forces a punt. Robinson with a big TFL on second down. Robinson now has 18 tackles.
Florida 24, FSU 14 7:14 4th

Travis leads em down the field for a score. Big answer there to keep the Noles in this one. Ward finished it off with a 19-yard TD run.
Florida 24, FSU 14 9:46 4th

Gators finish off a wild and bizarre sequence there with yet another TD. It was on fourth down, but was ruled a first down for some reason. Anyway. Walked into the end zone for a 3-yard run. Seminoles have very little chance in this one now.
Florida 24, FSU 7 12:36 4th

On 2nd and 1, Travis throws a deep ball intended for Parchment. He left it too far inside and it was picked off. Kinda looked like it hit the ground, but the call on the field stood as an INT. And now the Gators are running it seemingly at will against a tired and maybe dejected defense. They have second and 1 at the FSU 21. Feels like a TD here kind of ends the game with the way the FSU offense has performed over the last five quarters.
Florida 17, FSU 7 15:00 4th

Gators get points. Again thanks to third down. They convert a 3rd and 22 on a 9-yard pass, which was ridiculous. Then Richardson finds Shorter for a 5-yard TD catch in the corner of the end zone on third down. Ball was actually deflected by Jones, but it was still caught. Florida is now 11 of 15 on third downs.
Florida 17, FSU 7 2:09 3rd

Special teams continue to let FSU down. Nobody can catch a punt. After a great punt by Mastromanno is downed at the 1, UF booms a 60-yard punt. Pokey Wilson somehow calls for a fair catch AND drops it. Florida recovers. And the Gators now have the ball at the FSU 33.
Florida 10, FSU 7 5:42 3rd

Not a great start to the half. FSU goes three and out. A false start on Gibbons pushed it to a 3rd and 11 and Travis's long attempt to Toafili was incomplete. Then Mastromanno got off a horrible punt, a line-drive 35-yarder right down the middle, UF returned it to the 45 and then Williamson was called for a personal foul targeting play. Gators then brought in Richardson, the freshman, and he had one nice completion before the drive stalled at the FSU 19. Ball would have been back even farther but Cooper was called for a personal foul, which offset the one by a UF lineman on the other side of the field. Kick was good. Gators lead again.
Florida 10, FSU 7 11:09 3rd

Seminoles actually get into UF territory and might have had a chance at FG but Travis gets tackled as the first half ends. Didn't get down in time to call the timeout. Seminoles feel fortunate to be tied in this game considering how most of the first half went.
Florida 7, FSU 7 HALFTIME

UF drives all the way inside the FSU 10. Chews up almost the entire first half clock. Then on first down at the 10, Jones throws his third INT of the half. This time it's Brownlee in the end zone. Cut in front of the receiver. Big play.
Florida 7, FSU 7 :29 2nd

Travis leads the Seminoles right down the field. Hits Parchment for a big 25-yard completion, then has two big runs. The last one covering nine yards for the TD. Seemed to throw the ball OK on that series.
Florida 7, FSU 7 6:45 2nd

Seminoles give up a big play on third down again, Brownlee got beat on the pass and then couldn't make the tackle either. But on 2nd and 11, Jones throws an INT right to Deloach. So FSU gets the ball back at its own 32. Travis has been warming up so we'll see if he comes back into the game.
Florida 7, FSU 0 10:09 2nd

Rodemaker was in the game for that series. Didn't go well either. Parchment was called for OPI. 15 yard penalty. And FSU punted three plays later.
Florida 7, FSU 0 13:06 2nd

FSU defense gets a four and out but the UF punter flips the field with a 52-yarder with no return.
Milton then promptly throws a pick on third down. Terrible throw.
But on UF's next play, a trick play, Jones gets hit as he throws and Jammie Robinson with an easy INT. Sets up FSU at its own 45.
Florida 7, FSU 0 15:00 2nd

FSU offense is in some trouble. Went three and out on first series and Travis hurt his shoulder.
Mastromanno had a 15-yard punt but FSU defense got a three and out. FSU had a nice drive going on the next possession, but Travis took another shot on a run and he's out of the game. Headed back to the locker room. Milton came into the game and immediately let a snap go through his fingers for a 16-yard loss. Mastromanno then hit a 62-yard punt - that UF returner didn't field for some reason - and Gators have the ball at their own 4.
Florida 7, FSU 0 3:17 1st

Gators drive 75 yards to open up the scoring. Jammie Robinson gets beat in coverage on a third and nine play. It was the third third-down conversion of the drive for the UF offense. It went 47 yards for the score. Seminoles doing pretty well on the first two downs. Third down a killer so far.
Florida 7, FSU 0 10:54 1st

Seminoles are on the field. And the Gators have just taken the field. I'd guess the stadium is maybe 65 percent full. Plenty of Seminole fans in attendance as well.

Florida won the toss and elected to receive. Sure looks like Emory Jones is going to start. But who knows?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

11:37 -- Based on pregame warmups, looks like Brady Scott will get the start again at right guard over DLT. So R. Scott, Gibbons, Smith, B. Scott and D. Washington will be the starting line.

And then this happened:

11:29 --We'll see if there's any gamesmanship, but Emory Jones was announced in pregame as UF's starting QB.

11:18 -- Also looks like OL Devontay Love-Taylor and DL Jarrett Jackson are both going through warmups. DLT missed the BC game, and Jackson was sidelined during it.

11:12 -- OT Darius Washington, who left the BC game with an injury, is suited up for pregame warmups.

11:05 -- The QBs and kick/punt return guys are out now for official pregame warmups. In full uniform. In case you hadn't seen, the 'Noles are wearing gold pants and white tops.

10:48 -- Nick O'Leary on the sideline today.

10:43 -- Because they don't have restrictions on travel roster size today, FSU brought a bunch of walk-ons who don't typically suit up on Saturdays. Great to see them get that reward. ... FSU DBs are out there warming up now.

10:35 -- It will be another battle of Australian punters today, and FSU's Alex Mastromanno is chatting with UF's Jeremy Crawshaw on the field right now during pregame warmups. ... FSU's receivers are out there warming up. Good to see Keyshawn Helton out there looking healthy. He wasn't available the last couple weeks.

10:20 -- The QBs are out doing some early warmups ... Jordan, McKenzie, Tate and Gino. Also some of the special teams guys.

It's a pretty day but a little chilly. 50 degrees. Supposed to get into the 60s as the day goes on.

Good morning! We’re here at The Swamp for the battle for bowl eligibility.

FSU players just took a quick walk around the field. We’ll have more shortly.
