Here’s the highlights from Mike Norvell’s availability. Liked the approach to the work, it was a good day and they put together a good stretch this week that was pretty intense.

On WR Mycah Pittman, Norvell said he’s growing and he appreciates his energy, focus, and investment. He’s got playmaking ability. Catches that were impressive to see today

On Corey Wren, Norvell said he had a couple of great plays today. Everyone knows he has great speed. He’s seen some great strides from him.

On RB Rodney Hill, said he had a couple great plays today and is excited to see him get in space. Norvell said he likes the running back room and they can be a fun group to watch.

On the benefit of the week off for the coaches, Norvell said you get to look back and what the steps they are seeing with players conceptionally. Norvell said there will be some movement and guys jumping from the second group to the first, or vice versa.

On QB Coach Tony Tokarz, Norvell said he’s a coach that is led from the heart. Very knowledgeable in big picture approach to offense and scheme. Has a great eye for what happens on the field.

Norvell said QB Tate Rodemaker has looked really good the past two days and has had a good four days. Said Wednesday’s practice was probably his best practice since he’s been here.

On QB A.J. Duffy, Norvell said he's been impressive and they have not watered it down for him in what they've taught him. "It's exciting where he can go."

Norvell happy with third year guys Darion Williamson, Kentron Poitier and Corey Wren. Also pleased with the play of the young QBs. More coming...

Also, former DE Jermaine Johnson is here at practice this evening and back visiting with FSU.

Hey gang, just letting you know the team is indeed practicing. We'll have observations, interviews and more afterwards. Little wrinkle earlier with the team doing red zone work early in team drills -- offense with the upper hand. More to come closer to 7PM
