Watch each of the interviews from today below, but here are some highlights from what Norvell had to say after practice today.
Said it was probably one of the more intense practices they’ve had. Guys came out with a real purpose. Loved the intensity today.
On the RBs, said he really likes the group. Explosive. Good to see big plays showing up.
On DB Sam McCall, said he’s continuing to get better. Had a good day. Cleaning up fundamentals will come with time. Said McCall is showing the production and playmaking ability that they thought they were getting with him.
On the second scrimmage this Saturday, said it will have more of a game flow and won’t be as scripted. Will create a couple situations but more of a game flow. Will make guys think and have sudden changes with calls and such.
On Treshaun Ward, he has the ability to be a great leader on this team. The way he comes to work. He takes a great deal of pride in being an older guy. Very explosive and putting himself in a position to have a great year. The younger guys all look to him.
On OL Bryson Estes, said he’s really been proud of him. Confidence is growing. Got a great shot.

The ‘Noles will be practicing today around 4 p.m., the final practice before Saturday’s second scrimmage.
We’ll post a few quick photos and clips from the start of practice and then full coverage afterward.
Guessing it will be a sharper and more spirited practice than Tuesday. We’ll see.
