We requested information from FSU on the hiring of DHR International to conduct the football search, and FSU just released it.
Reading through the details now, but it looks like FSU is paying a $100,000 flat fee, plus expenses. $50,000 paid up front and another $50,000 after.

* The contract was signed on Nov. 4, one day after Willie was fired.
* FSU also will pay 12 percent of the overall fee to cover administrative expenses, etc. The contract says 12 percent is "customary" in that industry. ... Additional expenses will be billed as they arise.
* FSU has the right to cancel the contract within 60 days and pay a prorated rate.
* If the candidate who is hired either leaves voluntarily or is fired within two years, the firm will do a subsequent search at no charge.
