FSU sports information:

Florida State Women’s Basketball will spend its Thanksgiving in Las Vegas this upcoming season, participating in the Ball Dawgs Classic held at The Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nev., which is home of the NBA G League Ignite.

The Seminoles will play in the tournament alongside Stanford, Northwestern and Belmont. Game dates will be Nov. 22 with first-round play as well as Nov. 24 with championship play. FSU will have off from game action on Thanksgiving, which is Nov. 23.

Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday at 1 p.m. ET at www.thedollarloancenter.com and www.axs.com. Full event information can be found at www.balldawgsclassic.com.

The Ball Dawgs Classic is the third confirmed event for the Seminoles this season. Also on the 2023-24 schedule is the first-ever ACC/SEC Challenge held at the Tucker Center against Arkansas on Thursday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m.

FSU also returns to the Invesco QQQ Basketball Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase on Sunday, Dec. 10, against UCLA at a time to be determined. That event takes place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.

The Seminoles will be making their second trip to Las Vegas. They competed at the Duel in the Desert in the 2010-11 season right before the Winter holiday on Dec. 19-21, 2010.

As they prepare for the upcoming season, the Seminoles will be going on another International Tour from Aug. 5-15, building their team chemistry in both Greece and Croatia.

A full non-conference schedule as well as the entire ACC slate will be released later this summer.

Non conference schedule is looking really good so far. UCLA, Stanford and Arkansas were are tourney teams and return a lot of talent. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the schedule looks like.

Add Tennessee to the list.

Noles will face Tennessee at home on 11/9. Big home game early in the season. Brooke is putting together a really tough schedule so far. Definitely one of the best I’ve seen us have.
