The No. 20 Florida State women’s tennis team has been selected to the NCAA Tournament for the 25th time in school history, it was announced Monday.
Florida State will be traveling to Athens, Georgia, to face UNC Asheville. Alabama State and host Georgia are the two other teams in the Athens Regional.
The Seminoles have received a bid to seven straight NCAA Tournaments, and 16 under head coach Jenifer Hyde. Hyde has led FSU to 17 of the program's 19 victories in the NCAA Tournament.
Florida States 16 wins this season include nine ranked wins and four victories over top-25 opponents.
