So I stopped by HROT today for the first time in over a year to see that it is still a premium board. I know some of you guys used to visit there and some of the non-subscribers came to this board, so I figure this is as good a place as any to ask, but... has there ever been anything said on why they let one guy completely ruin a once great board?

Just looking at the thread titles, it might as well be named the political board. I used to really enjoy posting there. Pretty sad to see how Rivals' incompetence let one guy ruin it for everyone.

One guy (I think most knew him as Da Coach) kept creating accounts, attacking posters, posting porn, etc.

Hawkeye Report people can't keep him banned as he somehow posts from a different IP address once his gets banned. I don't know enough about the internet to know how he was doing that. Proxies?

Hawkeye Report admins contact upper level Rivals folks who tell them to just make it a premium board.

A lot of good posters were not paying members and traffic falls.

Check in on the board one year later and see that it has essentially died.
