In the cases of murders where there is NO doubt who the killer is (ie. man goes into McDonald's and pulls out a semi-automatic and shoots the place up and is caught there), there would be no trial. The person would be executed immediately. No wasting taxpayers money on long trials, feeding and housing in prison, etc. Kill them immediately.

For folks who have been convicted of violent sexual assaults they will be castrated. Particularly sexual assaults on young children (pedophiles) and animals and the elderly. There is something majorly wrong with them and I don't think a majority can be rehabilitated so castrate them and take away their urges.

This sounds barbaric but I would be for public caning in cases where someone is definitely guilty and wouldn't mind cutting off people's hands who are caught stealing.

Legalize marijuana immediately in all states. Tax the living crap out of it as well as tobacco and alcohol.

Get rid of current tax laws. Either go with a flat tax for everyone or get rid of income tax and raise sales tax for everyone. Get rid of deductions except I'd still make charitable contributions deductible.

Limit Congressman to 2 terms.

Have members of Congress abide by same laws, insurance, etc as the general public.

Take away left lane losers driving privileges. Publicly ridicule them as well.

If you are writing checks in Publix or can't find your coupon purse, you should be slapped silly.

M. Night Shama Lamma Ding Dong shall make no more movies.

The Kardashians shall be exported.

Drug testing for all folks who get governmental monetary assistance. If you fail, no money for you.

There should be a stupidity test.....if you fail this test, you are really, really stupid. You will be sterilized so you don't reproduce more stupid people....Mama June, I am talking to you.

Any group put together to influence political decisions must use a name that clearly indicates their true motive. If your money comes from PETA, your PAC name must indicate so; if your money comes from companies who make theirs selling weapons to the army, your PAC name must say so. No more "Americans for a better America."

Ditto if someone publishes a "scientific study." I want to know who paid for the study so I can determine how biased it is likely to be. I want to know if the study downplaying the health risks of smoking was paid for by RJ Reynolds & the Association of Tobacco Farmers. Likewise, if a study is touting the health benefits of drinking milk, I want to know if it was paid for by the Dairy Farmers of America.

On your "drug testing for those on government assistance" I have mixed feelings. For me, I view it entirely from a cost-benefit perspective. If the testing eliminates government benefits of as much or more than the cost of the testing, I'm in favor. But if you're spending $10 million to prevent $2 million of benefits getting smoked up by the recipient, I'll pass.

I am the King...off with your head!!!! Seriously, I agree with you

You want to legalize marijuana, but you want to drug test recipients for using a legal substance. Strange fiefdom that you have created....I shall name it Paradoxical Land.

I believe this was tried already in Germany in the last '30's to mid 40's. ;) Even with that history behind us, I agree.

If its legalized, it won't be tested.....cocaine and other illegal substances will.

Limit Congressman to 2 terms. NOT UNLESS THEY CHANGE HOW ELECTED OFFICIALS GET TO BE SENIOR ON COMMITTEES, ETC. JACKSONVILLE HAS TERM LIMITS FOR OUR STATE REPS AND THEY CAN'T STAY LONG ENOUGH TO BE PLACED IN POSITIONS OF INFLUENCE. IT'S HURT JACKSONVILLE IN THE PROCESS.

Have members of Congress abide by same laws, insurance, etc as the general public. ABSOLUTELY!!

Take away left lane losers driving privileges. Publicly ridicule them as well. SOUNDS GOOD TO ME.

If you are writing checks in Publix or can't find your coupon purse, you should be slapped silly. FINALLY CONVINCED MY 88 YEAR OLD MOTHER TO STOP DOING THIS.

M. Night Shama Lamma Ding Dong shall make no more movies. NO OPINION

The Kardashians shall be exported. HOW ABOUT WE RE-RELEASE KIM'S SEX TAPE AND MAKE FUN OF HER LACK OF TALENT? PUBLICLY RIDICULE HER LIKE A LEFT LANE DRIVER.

OVERALL PRETTY GOOD STUFF, JIM!

So, your issue is that it's illegal and not the effect or lack thereof it may have on a person sucking on the government tit. Because a crack head is a pretty good worker, he'll rob you blind if you are not paying attention, but the man can drive a nail.

Nobody from the Bush family or Clinton family or anyone in their inner circles would be permitted to run for public office ever again.
Hackers and virus writers would be imprisoned for life without parole.
Big shorts would be outlawed.
I would create a lot more national parks.
All public/corporate assistance would be approved in advance...by me!
Never again would a city pay for a sports stadium.
Paul Finebaum would be declared a public nuisance and banned from the airwaves on the authority of...me!

I would like to vote for Formerly Rockymtnole for king. Assuming, of course, that is his real name and not some name he made up to trick me into supporting him.

Espin would be eliminated with a REAL sports network taking it's place.

PS: Disney World would revert back to Walt Disney's original vision and ALL management fired.

I think Hackers/virus companies/people should be punished in ways that aren't constitutional.

I would put the general population on birth control...the antidote?? we can discuss who gets it, but with technology we simply need fewer people. I have no problem helping people and in much more complete way than we do now..mental health, etc... but no need to perpetuate a system that is clearly failing a large portion of the world.

totally agree about never having a city pay for a stadium...bravo LA, bravo. And Finebaum should be flogged.

Yeah that was such a scam in Florida. Governor Skeletor had it passed so his urine testing companies....I mean his "wife's" were guaranteed a lot of money. And basically no one was removed from the rolls.

I will mandate that everyone agree with me.

And everyone will bring me ice cream whenever I want it.

In order for a non profit or charity to be tax exempt, then no one on their payroll can earn more than 50k a year and if more than 1 immediate family member works for them they can not make more than 100k a year total between all of them. The NFL doesn't get taxed because they are considered Non- Profit. How ridiculous is that!

Sounds a little sharia-inspired if you don't mind me saying so.

I'll add this...

Unemployment -
Be on it as long as you need. But two days of the week you'll be required to come work for the government. Might be paving roads, helping high school kids with their resumes, mowing public parks, picking up trash. You will be improving your community and earning that paycheck.

Good idea but why just two days a week?

I like this (though would raise the max to $100k) - and it would also apply to religious organizations. Pastors don't need to be making hundreds of thousands. I'd also require them to show % of donation $s spent on charity - if they fall below a threshold, they lose exempt status and are taxed as a for-profit.

Reason to raise the max to $100k is that it would attract more intelligent people to the space - I'd love to work for a charity that brings clean water to poor parts of the world, and would prob do it if I got paid like 60-70% of what I get paid now -- 50k however doesn't makes sense for me financially, I need to save something, even if it's not a ton.

Other 3 days spent job hunting, interviewing, etc... though you could argue all 7 days are the same when you're unemployed. Perhaps make it 3 days of gov't work - thurs-fri-sat. Which leaves them 3 week days to reach out to employers.

I'd also really intensify job training / counseling programs. Some people need help that we're just not providing and it's unrealistic to think they'll osmose that information in their current circumstance - it can be paid for out of the money saved paying public employees to pave/clean/mow/teach/etc...

Licenses required before you are allowed to bear and raise children. Not only must you be able to afford to raise the kids, you must also show the ability and desire. If not, temporary birth control implants until you can pass such test.

Totally scrap the prison complex as it is. Find a way to separate the true violent criminals that need to be separated from society (penance) from those who will need to return and prosper (rehabilitation). Create mental, social, and trade/professional programs to prepare these people. And, remove some of the unnecessary felony stigmas that often keep them from being able to prosper upon paying their debt to society.

Also, forget the most obvious: Immediate repeal of all Cannabis laws.

I agree with you but even $100k is insufficient. A lot of the best charities (those providing health and/or legal care to the indigent and buildings or business advice/bank loans) employ doctors, lawyers, engineers, pharmacists and other high $$$$ specialists. For $50k you're not going to get anymore than first year doctors and lawyers fresh out of uni and while lots of legal and medical aid societies rely heavily on nubes and even poorer paid interns still in school and even get some free work from experienced ones like myself who set aside 40-80 hours a year for pro bono work, BUT....someone's got to train those nubes and interns (as a volunteers in practice areas outside their specialties) and manage a large and even more disjointed medical, legal or construction firm than typical private practices. You're not going to find ANYONE willing to risk their medical and/or legal license to run a disjointed and large practice that they are ultimately responsible for any errors and misdeeds for a paltry $50k or even $100k. You're talking a minimum of $200k more like $250k to get someone with any medical or legal management skills to run these types of practices.

So you're on the right track but WAY off on the numbers. Besides highly trained and experienced staffing is NOT the problem with nonprofits. It's when EVERY single CEO of the various blood banks throughout Florida that sells your donated blood for a huge profit makes EIGHT figures not six in salary alone. Plus large manipulative groups like ALS hide large figures under travel and "education" conferences that are really just lavish vacations for huge amounts of money...and six hours one day of education they may not even bother to attend.

So my solution would be to cap salaries at $250k per employee including retirement payout but not including insurance (med, legal and to a lesser extent eng malpractice insurance can be outrageous esp for things you want like obgyn malpractice), cap travel at $50k per employee and cap housing allotments at $20k per year, anything beyond would be taxed. Then require all nonprofits including churches to charge rent for buildings utilized as dwellings of employees based upon a state or county average of rent per square ft whichever is higher. And the final change is that 60% of nonprofits other than churches must be spent on the organisations end purpose. So no more of ALS spending 10-20% on ALS research and 80%+ on salaries and "awareness eduction".

Agree, I was prob too low on the "salary cap" - your rationale is on point.

Why "other than churches"?
I'd say they need to spend their donations equally as responsibly. Mega-cathedrals don't qualify. Frankly I'd have them totally operate under the auspices of a regular charitable non-profit - no separate distinction.

You get the point of where I was going with Salary and perhaps it should be adjusted based on the services the charity or non profit provides. I was just throwing a number out there and yes you hit the nail on the head related to lavish expenses.

With churches we would have to come up with something more complicated even if we CAN come up with something. While it's really easy to say (and we should) that if you're a legal aid society then at least 60% has to go lawyers salaries actively working on cases for the indigent (which it's usually higher ime, we lawyers who actually donate time and/or work in legal aid societies I've found far more ethical than doctors who are frequently in it for a profit motive especially in south Florida and I'm speaking as a former and current leader of both doctors and lawyers. I've never found an attorney nonprofit that wasn't well over 60%). And if you're going to claim to be an ALS to Research charity than at least 60% has to go to the PhDs and MDs doing the research and only 40% can go to "awareness" and other marketing/money soliciting activities and "overhead" like management salaries and vacations..errr education conferences. Both of those are easy to monitor and easy to fulfil (unlike in real life where the ALS stole 80 cents of every dollar from the ice bucket challenge).

Churches meanwhile would require some huge matrix to apply it properly other than the salary, travel and housing provisions I specified. Because you couldn't say something like "no more than 60% can go to the pastor" because there are lots of small nondenominational churches in poor neighbourhoods where the collections may total $50k a year. So 100% may be going to the preacher and his travel budget which is fine with me when you consider he's doing things like faith counselling for mentally or physically I'll people when not lecturing on Sundays or Saturdays. Conversely, while the "problem" is megachurch pastors fleecing the elderly and other mentally weak individuals for millions and living in giant mansions while riding around to vacations in multiple private jets what about the Catholic Church with its huge cathedrals, gold chalices, gold everything really? While I think that lavish display is unnecessary and almost sickening (as I was just at wedding in the biggest most over the top Catholic Church in downtown Tampa) good luck telling the parishioners there they should give up their Trumpesque solid gold and real Marble EVERYTHING. That ostentatious display "for God" is literally part of their religious beliefs.

So no, I don't think you should force religious dollars into charity for the poor (there are secular groups for that and the churches should do with the overflow charity whatever they want OTHER than the personal enrichment of their leaders). Would you force a $100k per year church to pay its pastor only $40k and donate the rest to the poor?

Really for churches the caps I set on individual pay, travel and housing covers everything profane about religious donation other than ostentatious churches and like I said the Catholics and some other religions actually view that as worship so you can't expect to tamper with it.

Fair points.
Though luckily in this thread, I am King. As such I hear by ban all houses of worship. You may practice whatever hocus pocus you find most believable in the comfort of your own home and or public space - no structures dedicated to religion shall be erected, nor any donations in the name of religion.
Money spent on tithes can now be spent on soup kitchens, weed, urban renewal, parks, arts, tacos, and FIFA 2015.
The peasants may now rejoice!

Being King is fun!
