Will it be ? Hell I don't know.
1. On defense. Get a coordinator that can do a few things:
A.) Judge talent. We have plenty. Ex. #20 should not play unless someone is hurt.
B.) Don't be too close with your players You're there to coach them up not be their best friend.
C.) Understand schemes. Ex.Under no circumstance should #99 be covering WR's.
D.) Create true competition. If someone lacks effort (#4) he gets replaced.
E.) Defensive guys are dogs. Let us play to our true nature.
Even with players exiting, the defense could be studly quickly.
2. Offense.-
A.) Absolutely need to run some up tempo. we did it twice today. Worked well.
B.) Got to have a real OC. Time for new eyes and schemes.
C.) Open up the QB battle. Especially if DF is not 100%.
D.) New OL coach to change up on zone blocking Maybe 50% of the time.
E.) Akers ain't DC but he's pretty dang good.
F.) New WR coach needs to be able to also teach blocking.
This part is all on Jimbo.
